Description and Requirements

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Manager to own business development activities for the Lenovo XR BU. This will include owning both the key relationship with Meta for the XR business as well as overseeing the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy for our end-to-end (E2E) One Lenovo XR Solutions. This leadership role will be responsible for driving the development, execution, and delivery of innovative solutions that extend beyond our current product portfolio, aligning with strategic business goals and technological advancements. The Sr. Manager will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to build impactful and scalable go-to-market strategies, ensuring successful execution and measurable outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Own the business relationship and long term partnership with Meta, as well as driving potential business opportunities for partners and Lenovo related to that relationship
  • Strategic Leadership & Execution: Develop and implement the Go-to-Market strategy for One Lenovo XR Solutions, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and growth objectives. Oversee the full lifecycle of E2E solution delivery, from conceptualization through to market deployment.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (sales, product development, marketing, etc.) and external partners to drive collaboration and deliver high-impact XR solutions. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and consensus on GTM plans and execution.
  • Partner Engagement: Manage relationships with strategic technology and business partners to co-develop solutions that address evolving customer needs and expand beyond existing product offerings. Foster long-term partnerships that drive growth and innovation.
  • KPI Management: Own and track KPIs including Proof-of-Concept (POC) success, revenue growth, and partner/stakeholder feedback. Continuously evaluate and adjust GTM plans based on performance data and market trends to maximize impact.
  • Market Insights & Competitive Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor offerings to ensure Lenovo's XR solutions are positioned competitively in the marketplace. Leverage these insights to refine GTM strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Business Acumen: Take ownership of the business metrics tied to product success. Understand and manage P&L responsibilities, ensuring that all GTM initiatives contribute to the overall profitability and growth of the business.
  • Flawless Execution: Oversee the flawless execution of GTM campaigns and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, high-quality results, and alignment with business objectives. Manage cross-functional teams to drive accountability and deliver results across boundaries.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of go-to-market professionals, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture. Provide guidance and development opportunities to ensure team members grow in their careers and contribute to organizational success.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in managing and driving value from strategic long-term relationships with external partners across technologies and opportunities
  • Deep understanding of E2E industry solutions and emerging technologies within the XR space.
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, business metrics, industry profit pools, and how to drive value through strategic GTM efforts.
  • Proven track record of managing and influencing multiple internal and external stakeholders across complex programs.
  • Demonstrated success in executing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives. Ability to navigate complexity and deliver results with precision and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Ability to translate complex technical solutions into business-driven outcomes.
  • Ability to align diverse teams and interests toward common goals.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and business growth.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to senior leaders and external partners.
The base salary budgeted range for this position is $175,000 - 210,000. Individuals will also be eligible for a 14% annual performance bonus. Lenovo's great benefits can be found at www.lenovobenefits.com.
