Position Summary Trideum DEVS systems engineers oversee engineering activities of an organization's information systems. They plan, design, develop, evaluate, tests and integrate an organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of software. They capture, understand, translate, and document customer requirements. Defines system and product requirements; and generate software performance and reliability specifications and requirements. They create and maintain programmatic and technical documentation to ensure efficient planning and execution. They manage and document system configurations and oversee all transitions into production. They perform troubleshooting and remediation, ensure successful project implementation, and perform post project end user support. Initially working as a software developer, you would learn to integrate with Trideum software engineers to develop, plan and analyze, design products, and program computer software that requires extensive research. These roles use advanced knowledge in the field of systems engineering and computer science or software engineering along with advanced knowledge of software development and methodologies. They perform software and system testing procedures, bug verification, release testing, and beta support. They perform product design and programming activities involving multiple modules or subsystems. They participate in design meetings and consultations with other staff to evaluate the interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system. They perform complex release testing and beta support for assigned projects and resolve problems found in the software. They prepare documentation required for the product. They analyze and research software requirements to determine feasibility of design and marketing requirements within time and cost constraints. They may consult with customers concerning application and maintenance of software, coordinate installation of software system, and/or serve as project architects. The chosen candidate will be employed on a full-time basis, primarily in support of government customers in Fort Belvoir, VA area. This position offers some flexibility for a hybrid work schedule, depending on project requirements. The person in this role will provide software engineering for modeling and analysis tools and integrate into a common environment for Joint and Army campaign analysis. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to develop new software tools and create major enhancements to existing software. The role requires creativity and flexibility of software programming to support innovation and enhancement requirements of the larger program objectives. In this role, the candidate must be able to analyze user needs, conceptualize solutions, determine the feasibility of design, and know how to apply new technologies to allow for improvement to existing or development of new critical software applications within our client organization.
