Traveling Solar Laborer

Job Overview:
Moss is seeking motivated and safety-conscious Night Shift Laborers to join our team for MC4/Wire Management Remediation on utility-scale solar projects. This is a traveling laborer position requiring flexibility to work at various project sites. In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting, identifying, and correcting wire management issues while ensuring MC4 connectors are properly installed and secured according to project standards.

Pay & Schedule:

• $20/hour + $2/hour night shift differential

• Night Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM

• Per diem opportunities available when traveling

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform visual inspections and hands-on remediation of MC4 connectors and wire management systems

• Identify damaged, loose, or improperly installed components and correct as needed

• Ensure all cable routing, ties, and supports meet quality and safety standards

• Collaborate with QA/QC and site supervision teams to ensure timely documentation and completion of remediation tasks

• Safely and efficiently use hand tools and test equipment

• Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety protocols at all times

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with solar PV installation or wire management preferred

• Familiarity with MC4 connectors and basic electrical safety practices

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

• Must be willing to work night shifts and travel regularly to project sites
