RAPP Detroit is looking for a Creative Director to join our award-winning Creative team.

YOUR ROLE:

As aCreative Director at RAPP, you will lead the charge in developing groundbreaking creative campaigns that elevate brands and connect with audiences. You'll oversee creative teams, guide conceptual development, and ensure the delivery of high-quality work that aligns with client objectives. This is a leadership role that requires strategic vision, strong collaboration, and the ability to inspire teams to produce innovative and effective work.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Lead the development of integrated campaigns across various platforms, including digital, social, print, experiential, and more.
  • Oversee and mentor creative teams, including art directors, copywriters, designers, and developers, ensuring their growth and success.
  • Collaborate closely with strategy, account, and production teams to ensure creative work aligns with strategic objectives.
  • Present creative concepts to clients, articulating the vision and rationale behind the work.
  • Drive innovation and push boundaries, exploring new approaches, tools, and technologies to elevate creative output.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality work.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of client brands, audiences, and industries to create relevant and impactful campaigns.


SUCCESS CRITERIA



  • Delivery of bold, innovative creative work that exceeds client expectations and resonates with audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership in fostering a collaborative and inspiring team environment.
  • Strong client relationships, with confidence in your ability to deliver strategic and creative solutions.
  • Effective management of multiple projects, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
  • Proactive exploration of creative trends and technologies to keep RAPP's work at the forefront of the industry.


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE



  • Experience: 8+ years in creative roles (e.g., art direction, copywriting, design), with at least 3 years in a creative leadership position.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing innovative, high-quality creative work across multiple platforms.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor creative teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Strategic Expertise: Strong understanding of brand strategy, audience insights, and campaign objectives.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with design tools, platforms, and emerging technologies.


Our Hybrid Work Model:

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to Detroit and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
