Moog Industrial Groupspecializes in high-performance motion control products and solutions for a variety of industrial applications including plastics, metal forming, power generation, flight simulation, automotive and aerospace testing, oil and gas exploration, wind energy, plus many others.

As the Contract Manager, you will lead, support, and/or monitor contractual activities related to specific customer or customer related development projects within the entities of responsibility. Your role includes contract review and contract negotiations to ensure the development and agreement of suitable contractual obligations between Moog and its internal and external customers and suppliers, in compliance with Moog Corporate guidelines. Depending on your location you may be located at one of our sites in the following locations: New York, Virginia, North Carolina. Base pay may vary depending on the location.

You will engage with the Industrial Group (IG) contracts team and other contracts related staff in the Moog organization to share expertise, set/develop and implement standards and best practices.

You will support commercial contracts activity at IG sites in North America. You will focus on supporting Sales and Supply Chain topics, with sites in New York, Virginia, and North Carolina. Support may also be provided in respect of facilities, IT and other related contracts topics. You may be asked to prove similar support to other IG global locations on a case-by-case basis depending on demand and capability.

As a Contract Manager, you will:

  • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, NDAs, purchase orders, and agreements with customers, suppliers, and partners.

  • Evaluate commercial, technical, and financial risks, ensuring compliance with legal and corporate guidelines.

  • Develop negotiation strategies, lead contract discussions, and secure agreements that align with business goals.

  • Ensure adherence to trade regulations, data protection, business ethics, and other legal requirements.

  • Work closely with business development, sales, supply chain, and legal teams.

  • Help improve contract expertise by preparing templates, playbooks, and training materials for the sales team.

  • Manage contract-related claims, disputes, insolvencies, and resolutions.

  • Support M&A, trade compliance, business restructuring, and strategic initiatives.

To be considered for the Contract Manager, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar in business administration or business/contract law or contract administration.

  • Five (5) years' relevant experience in the field of contracts management, negotiation, and/or sales/account management.

  • Fluent business and contractual English; any other language is an advantage.

  • Extensive international communication and intercultural skills.

  • Travel:Ability to travel 10-20% of the time.

  • Ability access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $85,000.00-$140,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
