The Director, Channel Partners will fuel sales and market share growth by leading strategic initiatives across assigned Channel Partner(s) and territories. This role combines tactical sales support with long-term strategic alignment to advance Umovity's vision. You'll drive new business, strengthen partnerships, and champion solutions that elevate customer satisfaction and power industry growth.

DUTIES

  • Directs sales activities of Channel Partners to meet revenue and sales goals.
  • Develop and implement action programs that support both tactical opportunities and long-term strategies.
  • Supports local Umovity business to ensure communications and action plans are clearly defined, complete and timely with each Channel Partner
  • Sales Enablement _ Ensures that Channel Partners maintain a level of knowledge and expertise in Umovity products, software's and services necessary to maintain the highest levels of sales competency and self-sufficiency.
  • Works with SVP of Sales to develop initiatives for Channel Partners to drive new business.
  • Supports SVP of Sales in planning, organizing and directing the execution of comprehensive sales plans to support market development and revenue growth.
  • Accompanies Channel Partner sales teams at customer meetings for strategic opportunity development or in a support role relating to customer satisfaction.
  • Provides project management support for large scale projects in conjunction with the Professional Services team
  • Provides support in abstracting solution sales opportunities at targeted customers
  • Works closely with sales managers or channel partner principals to develop strong knowledge of markets and assure continuity of strong local relationships.
  • Develops and implements annual sales plan targeted to exceed expected industry growth projections. (Bookings, Revenue and Software)'
  • Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, or project management, preferably in the traffic industry.
  • Strong financial acumen and analysis capabilities related to pricing, product packaging, incentives, commissions, discounting, etc. Ability to present information to all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership skills, high energy, team-oriented, aggressive and competitive self-starter with high sense of urgency.
  • Excellent written, communication and presentation skills, including strong personal selling and negotiation skills. Technology competent.
  • Strong executive consultative selling and planning skills.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Works with minimal direction, proactively promotes an open flow of information up, down and across the organization so that all concerned are well informed.
  • High level of CRM familiarity in order to identify sales seasonality, trends, track issues, and update records.
  • Fully appreciates the importance of formal and informal contacts with clients to build rapport and establishing trust on a regular/frequent basis. Personal high-level relationships with key personnel at current customers a plus.

BUSINESS TRAVEL

Travel to Channel Partner offices, clients, events and national agencies required
