IntrinsiQ
This role is in support of Cencora's specialty technology and insights service marketed through our IntrinsiQ Specialty Solutions business.

Position Summary
The primary responsibility of this full-time role will be to serve as the leader of a team of Scientific Liaisons with the responsibility for delivering scientific information to our specialty practices and establishing/maintaining relationships with identified practice leaders. Their focus is to develop annual strategy and objectives for the team to ensure that strong relationships are developed, insights are gained and aligned with the IntrinsiQ teamsand biopharma partners, critical research and medical information is discussed. and clinical trial efforts are facilitated. These goals and targeted objectives drive IntrinsiQ in providing strategic programs to support specialty physician practices and biopharma partners with their drug development pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery process for scientific information to support IntrinsiQ offerings to community specialty practices consistent with the strategy and objectives of both IntrinsiQ and biopharma partners
  • Develop quarterly/annual goals for the team based on overall company objectives to ensure that initiatives/projects are delivered
  • Direct the Science Liaison team regarding their responsibility to engage in scientific exchange and education about current and emerging therapies in a compliant manner and based on program objectives
  • Develop the methodology and direct the efforts of the team to improve the depth and breadth of understanding of these practices, their objectives and how best to serve those needs through strong interactive relationships
  • Develop and maintain scientific, clinical and therapeutic expertise in the areas of oncology and other specialty fields as needed
  • Ensure the differentiation of IntrinsiQ as the valued partner of choice with biopharma partners through innovative initiatives, coordinated strategy, and scientific communications
  • Provide appropriate scientific, clinical and educational support for internal cross functional colleagues
  • Represent the company at specific scientific meetings with the purpose of engaging with key physician and other HCP leaders and biopharma partners
  • Ensure a close working relationship with all IntrinsiQ Specialty Solutions colleagues
  • Communicate with internal teams/colleagues as to the role/objectives and continued performance impact of the Science Liaison team toward overall strategic goals
  • Lead and participate on special project teams when necessary

Experience and Educational Requirements

  • BA/BS, advanced degree in healthcare related field preferred
  • At least 6 years of hands-on experience working as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Diagnostic Liaison (DL), or Outcomes Liaison (OL) or related role in a similar industry or in the biopharma industry preferred
  • At least 3 years of management experience overseeing a team of MSLs, DLs and/or OLs or other similar field-based team
  • Preferred oncology expert level knowledge and recent experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise with precision medicine testing and clinical research
  • Documented base of strong physician/HCP relationships nationally
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain credible and scientific relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team of individuals all located remotely
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in strategy, project management, operational capacity, HR requirements
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to function on a cross-functional team
  • Knowledge of PhRMA, OIG and other guidelines relating to compliant medical communications
  • Demonstrated expertise in ability to synthesize and communicate medical information clearly
  • Understanding of the area of Medical Affairs within biopharma industry
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; senior management presentation skills
  • Ability to travel - approximately 50%

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
