Position Summary:

The Business Solutions Analyst Lead plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business partners and IT, ensuring the delivery of innovative, effective technical solutions that drive organizational success.

Reporting to the SAP Billing and Regulatory Reporting Service Manager, this role combines strategy, analysis, and leadership to optimize business processes and support regulatory compliance.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis and Process Improvement:

    • Collaborate with business partners to gather, analyze, and document requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

    • Conduct research to recommend process redesigns to leverage new technologies.

    • Analyze operations to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Solution Delivery and Testing:

    • Develop and communicate business requirements and functional specifications for IT solutions.

    • Manage customer expectations for product delivery, including providing regular status updates and project results prior to solution implementation.

    • Effectively collaborate with business and solutions teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure IT solutions meet client needs.

    • Validate test cases, review test plans, and monitor testing processes to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Leadership and Collaboration:

    • Provide coaching and guidance to less experienced team members to foster a collaborative team environment.

    • Facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure seamless communication across teams.

    • Support change management initiatives by developing communication and training plans.

  • Tools and Reporting:

    • Utilize tools such as Atlassian Jira to manage project work and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) to support business research and reporting.

    • Provide updates to stakeholders on changes affecting the Billing and Regulatory Reporting areas.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant technical or business work experience.

  • SAP experience in the Order-to-Cash area, particularly with customer billing activities.

  • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in service design, delivery, or enhancements.

  • Working knowledge of business operations and systems requirements processes.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a remote team environment.

Work Environment:

  • This is a remote position requiring reliable internet access and the ability to work independently.

  • The role involves significant computer-based work, with occasional travel to office locations.
