Jr Full Stack Engineer - Sales Engineering

LMI is looking for a highly motivated Jr. Full Stack Engineer to join our Sales Engineering team in either a remote or hybrid capacity. The ideal candidate for this role should possess well rounded technical skills and a strong foundation in full stack development. Successful Jr. Full Stack Engineers should exhibit a high degree of creativity and innovation, particularly in quickly developing unique solutions to address customer needs. This role requires engineers who can work independently, displaying a high level of self-motivation and initiative. Equally important is the capacity to collaborate effectively as part of a small, dynamic team. The Full Stack Engineers on our Sales Engineering team quickly tailor and adapt our existing platforms (LIGER, RAPTR, IronSled) to show how they could solve specific customer problems. They may also build net new proofs of concept that demonstrate potential solutions and drive sales. This combination of technical expertise, creativity, focus on sales outcomes, ability to see the art of the possible, and collaborative spirit is essential for thriving in the fast-paced and innovative environment at LMI.

This Jr. Full Stack Engineer will:

Quickly tailor existing platforms (LIGER, RAPTR, IronSled) to address and solve specific customer problems.
• As part of a small team, build new proofs of concept to demonstrate potential solutions and drive sales.
• Work with the Sales Engineering Lead to prepare demonstrations to customers, showcasing their value and benefits in a clear and compelling manner.
• Rapidly develop prototypes in response to evolving customer demands and feedback.
• Work with the Sales Engineering Lead to appropriately scope prototypes and demos to technically feasible solutions.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the capabilities and limitations of our platforms and leverage this knowledge to guide solution development.
• Manage multiple customer priorities and tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of a SECRET security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Familiarity with the MEAN Stack, with emphasis on full stack development in typescript.
• Experience with Angular
• Advanced proficiency in Python, with experience in PostgreSQL.
• Experience interacting with APIs to provide integrated solutions.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and security principles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
• Availability for occasional travel based on project requirements.

Desired Skills

• Experience in containerizing applications.
• Familiarity with container orchestration engines such as Kubernetes (e.g., EKS, AKS, GKE, Kops, OpenShift).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and utilizing tools such as GitLab.
• Familiarity with cloud computing deployment models.
• Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies and project management techniques, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of solutions.
• Self-directed, detail-oriented with the ability to adapt to changing work efforts and manage the impact of shifting priorities.
• Familiarity with DoD Cybersecurity requirements and vulnerability management concepts.
