Sigma Defense is seeking a Purchasing Associate I-II to join our Buying team in Perry, GA. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience supporting federal procurement.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience supporting federal procurement is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to accept direction and modify tasks based on level of priority as assigned.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities (Not all-inclusive):

  • Responsible for the procurement of Supplies, Software, and Services for Indirect Accounts and Direct Federal Programs.
  • Document procurements in accordance with the companies Procurement Manual, and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • Research and maintain three quotes for GSA (General Services Administration) support on all Other Direct Cost items as requested by government personnel.
  • Receive and maintain incoming deliveries for procurement services.
  • Consolidate and prepare shipments/proper documentation for Procurements deliveries.
  • Data entry of all government owned asset purchases into secondary databases required for Government tracked assets.
  • Assist warehouse team with coordinating procurement shipments.
  • Manager inventory and storage of office supplies.
  • Manage and maintain shipping documentation for all procurement items.
  • Execute required supporting documentation to justify Other Direct Cost purchases.
  • Assist and support purchasing team as needed.
  • Stock and maintain office supplies to ensure smooth, daily operation.
  • Assist in quarterly office events as directed by Human Resources.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 annually.
