The Senior Analyst of Reimbursement Reporting and Analytics is responsible for compiling, analyzing and reporting the Department's data gathering, processing, and analysis from numerous financial systems to support Federal and New York State reimbursement reporting and audits. The Senior Analyst of Reimbursement Reporting and Analytics also participates in the preparation and submission of the Medicare Cost Report and New York State Institutional Cost Report and assists with regulatory audits and special projects as needed. This position will support all hospital entities within the system but may predominantly have a focus on a specific MHS entity or entities. This is a hybrid position that will eventually require 3 days in the Tarrytown office.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Health Administration required

  • Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Health Administration preferred

  • 3 years of relative work experience required

  • HFMA Certifications - CHFP & CSAF preferred

  • Understanding of hospital finance and medical terminology

  • Microsoft Office, including demonstrated proficiency in Excel (advanced) and Word (intermediate)

  • Experienced with working in Epic AR and patient information

  • Experienced working with INFOR GL

  • Proficiency with databases such as Tableau, Tableau Prep or similar

  • Clarity and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) & SQL coding preferred
