What You'll Do

The Treasury Manager (Internal Title: Manager, Treasury 2) is responsible for overseeing cash management, liquidity planning, bank relationships, treasury reporting, treasury management system operations and financial risk mitigation. They will collaborate with the Treasurer to shape Treasury strategies and standards. This position works cross functionally with Projects, Contracts, Billing, Accounting, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. This role will report to the Vice President and Treasurer. This position is based in RTP, NC with hybrid or remote work options available.

Your primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Mentor and manage treasury operations staff.
  • Oversee daily cash flow and liquidity management.
  • Develop and manage short and long-term cash flow forecasts.
  • Manage and optimize the use of RTI's treasury management system.
  • Manage the maintenance of banking changes in treasury management and ERP systems.
  • Maintain bank and other financial institution relationships.
  • Manage all payments flowing through treasury management system and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of debt related payments.
  • Serve as backup for payment approvals.
  • Oversee the US Federal Government letter of credit (LOC) draw processes and compliance requirements.
  • Review treasury reports and work with FP&A to enhance visibility into global cash balances, and working capital metrics. Establish key performance indicators utilizing both the treasury management and ERP systems.
  • Manage resolution of support requests related to treasury management system.
  • Oversee bank account administration, monitor structures and manage fees for cost savings.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Legal, Tax, and GTS).
  • Mange FX hedging program and recommend strategies to minimize foreign currency exposures.
  • Manage merchant card programs including payment gateways and PCI compliance filing.
  • Ensure compliance with treasury policies, regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support and lead Treasury projects and audits (internal and external).
  • Collaborate with GTS to implement automation tools and to monitor and enhance system integrations.

What You'll Need

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of experience, Master's degree and 10 years of experience, PhD and 6 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require now, or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CTP (Certified Treasury Professional)
  • Experience with Kyriba or other treasury management system

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and treasury systems
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to obtain proper security clearances as noted by contracts
  • Discreet in the judgement and management of confidential matters, materials and sensitive issues

Our pay ranges represent national averages and may vary by location as a geographic differential may be applied to some locations within the United States.
