Job Purpose

We are seeking a lead Test Engineer at our Wichita locaiton. In this role you will oerform complex stress, vibration, engine development, and noise tests on component and complete Skidsteer and Compact Track loader. Testing will be performed in lab and in field applications to support the overall development and enhancement of new and existingconstruction products.



This position is a hybrid role and requires the employee to be on-site at a CNH facility at least three (3) days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of test engineers to perform engineering test validations to determine the performance, reliability, and durability of
  • components and vehicle.
  • Train new hires to develop their skills with data acquisition, instrumentation, data collection, and data analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team of project stakeholders to develop and define validation plans
  • Analyzes lab test and field test results and perform failure analyses. Coordinate activities in the field to gather data relevant to
  • equipment operations.
  • Prepares reports of test results, identifies potential adjustments to component dimension (size, strength, material, etc) and makes
  • recommendations to design engineering in order to enhance overall product quality.
  • Utilize engineering principles, practices, calculations and judgment to make recommendations that contribute to the engineering and
  • manufacturing objectives for specific products.
  • Supports design reviews, DFMEAs, and HARAs to develop new product design requirements
  • This position is a hybrid role and requires the employee to be on-site at a CNH facility at least three (3) days per week.

Experience Required

  • Bachelors Degree in a relevant engineering field, preferable Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Product Validation experience or relevant engineer experience
  • Project Management Experience

  • Communication skills to provide simple and detailed summaries
  • Provide solution suggestions
  • Strong demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive test records
  • Clearly and simply convey information and ideas to other cross functional groups
  • Extensive technical background
  • * Mechanical aptitude and strong "hands on" ability
  • * Installation of data acquisition equipment and components
  • * High level of computer application literacy
  • * Experience with data acquisition and analysis

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is USD$105,750.00 - $155,100.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
