Role Summary We are seeking a senior-level Network Security Design Lead to join their team in Milwaukee. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the intention of converting to a full-time role. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Cisco ISE, strong engineering experience with NextGen firewalls, and familiarity with Cisco AnyConnect (Secure Client) and Cisco Umbrella. Key Responsibilities * Lead design and engineering efforts for Cisco ISE across enterprise environments * Support modernization initiatives and upgrades related to network security * Engineer and maintain firewall solutions (preferably Cisco FTD; ASA or other NextGen firewalls also considered) * Provide technical leadership on Cisco AnyConnect and Cisco Umbrella integrations * Handle escalations, documentation, and project delivery * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and scalable network architecture * Participate in occasional travel to support project sites (e.g., Milwaukee, WI; York, PA; Plano, TX) Required Skills * Expert-level Cisco ISE experience (design, engineering, documentation, escalations) * Strong background in NextGen firewall technologies (Cisco FTD preferred; ASA acceptable) * Familiarity with Cisco AnyConnect (Secure Client) and/or Cisco Umbrella * Solid understanding of VPN, cloud security, and enterprise network architecture * Excellent communication and collaboration skills EVP & Work Environment * Long-term opportunity with potential for full-time conversion * Hybrid work model: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote starting January 2026 * Work with a high-impact team in a globally recognized brand * Exposure to enterprise-level security architecture and modernization projects Ideal Candidate Profile * Located within commutable distance to Milwaukee * Technically strong and hands-on with enterprise security tools * Comfortable with hybrid work and occasional travel * Ready to lead and contribute to strategic security initiatives Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
