Job Title: Mac OS Device Engineer Location: Spring, TX 77389 Duration: 12 months Work Type: On-site Pay Range: $50-$60/hr Pre-Employment Requirement: Must be willing to submit to a background screening Overview: We're seeking a seasoned Mac OS Engineering Expert to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade support for macOS devices. This is a strategic, engineering-focused role-not help desk support-and offers the opportunity to shape a new service from the ground up. Why This Role Matters: You'll be part of a high-impact initiative to expand enterprise IT infrastructure beyond Windows, integrating macOS into a secure, scalable environment using Microsoft Intune and Apple Business Manager. Work closely with a collaborative Houston-based team to deliver innovative solutions that improve user experience and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: * Architect and implement macOS support infrastructure using Microsoft Intune * Integrate Platform SSO with Entra ID for seamless authentication * Define and enforce macOS security policies and best practices * Automate application deployment using Bash scripting * Configure and manage Apple Business Manager for device enrollment * Provide third-level engineering support and troubleshoot rollout issues * Document processes, policies, and technical configurations Required Qualifications: * 5+ years of macOS device management in enterprise environments * Expertise with Microsoft Intune for macOS * Experience with Platform SSO and Entra ID integration * Proficiency in Bash (ZSH/SSH also acceptable) * Familiarity with Apple Business Manager and automated enrollment * Strong understanding of enterprise security and compliance * Excellent communication and documentation skills Preferred Skills: * Experience with PowerShell, Python, or REST APIs * Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Endpoint Admin, Jamf, VMware VCP-DW) * Prior consulting or leadership experience in mobility engineering Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
