Overview: TEKsystems is seeking an IT Specialist to support remote software installations and hardware deployments across the state for one of our clients based out of Frankfort, KY. This role involves configuring systems, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating the shipment of equipment. The position does not require travel. Key Responsibilities: * Perform remote software installations and updates * Deploy and configure hardware (primarily laptops) * Troubleshoot hardware and software issues * Coordinate equipment shipments and inventory tracking * Provide technical support and customer service to end users * Maintain accurate records using internal ticketing and asset management systems Required Skills: * Experience with Windows 10 and 11 operating systems * Familiarity with productivity suites (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets) * Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software * Knowledge of desktop imaging and deployment processes * Ability to install and support applications across multiple devices * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Commitment to completing the full duration of the project Preferred Experience: * Exposure to help desk or service desk environments * Understanding of user account management and system permissions * Experience with inventory tracking and ticketing systems Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
