About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join us.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Determine and define project scope and objectives.
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Prepare budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements.
  • Track project costs to meet budget for labor hour or firm fixed price efforts.
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule or work plan.
  • Ensure project meets established deadlines.
  • Review and verify all incoming and outgoing project documents.
  • Identify, track, and communicate all project risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Prepare, distribute, and review weekly and monthly status reports with client.
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
  • Foster a culture based on accountability.
  • Measure project performance and identify areas for improvement.


Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or related technical or functional discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related IT project management experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience leading federal civilian government agency programs.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience leading system migrations from on-premises to AWS.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Software Architect or Developer.

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Certified Scrum Master certification.
  • Experience working in a SEI CMMI Level 3 environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with business and technical personnel at all levels of an organization.
  • Experience with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.

Additional Requirements: Successful completion of a Fingerprint background investigation.

  • Experience with U.S. Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) Service Delivery Framework (SDF).

Min Citizenship Status Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen
