The APOS ROW Program Management Office Director is responsible for a diverse team of professionals (Program/project managers + virtual leadership across E2E functional teams) who develop, sell, support, enable, and fulfill programs to grow a range of upsell and renewal solutions in our SSG portfolio. One Lenovo is strategic program that will integrate IDG's +$100m and ISG's +$167m businesses over the coming quarters across consumer, SMB, Commercial for all countries. This individual will collaborate effectively with functional leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure programs are prioritized and managed according to high standards that ensure executive and front-line collaboration/visibility. This role is responsible for leading a consolidated program/project management office across these E2E functional groups. The leader will own business readiness for the implementation & rollout of APOS strategies that are framed with business outcomes and enabled by sales motions, business process optimization, and DTIT roadmaps. Each functional leader owns their business outcomes, where the Director of program/project management ensures oversight in partnership with the functional leaders to structure, plan, and deploy complex worldwide programs according to best practices that deliver business optimization. This is a hands-on position leading the program office while also leading projects - the ideal candidate must be willing to "roll up their sleeves".

The ideal candidate earns trust through performance and relationship building, thinks strategically and analytically about business challenges, has experience in designing and implementing program management offices and has a business background that enables them to assist the APOS leadership in managing to their business objectives. The candidate will be a leader with a talent for independent problem solving, a passion for identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, and has the foresight to anticipate business needs. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and innovative environment, will be able to manage through ambiguity and complexity, and constantly seek ways to invent and simplify how end-to-end functions engage within integrated program/project plans. Transformational leadership, organization, strong judgment, change management, and the ability to activate plans are all essential to success in this role.

This position will partner with functional stakeholders and team members within the extended APOS Services organization, such as Go-to-Market, Sales, Service Operations, Business Development, Marketing, Business Transformation, IT, and the Partner team. The individual must have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units, as well as across other geographies. Current and ongoing programs/projects spans the following areas: GTM, marketing, sales, operations, IT and 3rd party companies.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a DT Process Design Analyst role, bridging the gap between technical and business needs. Below are the key requirements:

Position Requirements:

Technical Competencies

  • Proficiency in developing complex SQL code for queries with multiple joins, filters, and computed items etc.
  • Proficiency with different database technologies (SQL Server, Hive, Databricks, Azure, etc.)
  • Experience with EDW solution design to develop common data models, common analytical models, etc.
  • Database Connection Familiarity: Ability to work with popular databases (e.g., MySQL, Spark, Presto, etc.) and select appropriate solutions based on business needs.
  • Proficient with various BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, etc.) and associated AI capabilities.
  • System Integration: Skilled in coordinating and integrating different systems to ensure smooth business operations.

Business Acumen

  • Strategic Thinking: Expertise in enterprise-level system architecture design and optimization for business efficiency.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Experience in managing and resolving technical challenges across different business lines.
  • Business Process Optimization: Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and drive project implementation.
  • Client Collaboration: Strong communication skills to collaborate with business and technical teams, ensuring alignment of technical solutions with business goals.
  • Ability to work with data across multiple domains (Services, M&S, SC, etc.).
  • Strong grasp of data foundation and its critical role in AI enablement.
  • Strong grasp on the AI industry trends and challenges with deploying meaningful AI that delivers strong ROI.

Skills and Abilities

  • Project Management Tools: Proficiency in tools like JIRA and Trello for managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Data Analysis: Strong ability to use SQL for complex data analysis and business insights.
  • Technical Documentation: Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation and project reports.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Project Management Experience: 5+ years of experience in SQL development, system design, and integration projects.
  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SQL and System Integration Experience: Strong background in SQL database design and optimization, as well as experience with system integration.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate technical solutions and system designs to diverse stakeholders.
  • Cross-Department Expertise: Proven ability to manage and integrate technical solutions across different business units.
  • Rich Experience: Experience in implementing complex systems in large enterprises or financial institutions.
  • Cultural Flexibility: Ability to adapt to fast-changing business environments and work across diverse teams.
  • Leadership Vision: Clear career goals and a commitment to continuous growth and value creation for the organization.
  • Certifications: PMP certification is optional but preferred for candidates with extensive project management experience.
