Overview

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of our NY, Boston, Nor Cal, Raleigh or Charlotte office

This position is responsible for the ongoing planning and support of the Global Banking and Markets Solutions ("GBMS") division that includes Global Foreign Exchange/FX Payments, Derivatives and Trade Finance. Conducts analysis, evaluates current practices/priorities, and offers guidance to business units to drive decisions and maximize results. Provides recommendations to drive decisions regarding strategy, prioritization, best practices and methodologies. Works directly with division leadership, senior internal business partners and stakeholders to facilitate and implement business plans and initiatives that will enable the division to drive growth, while satisfying financial, regulatory, and compliance requirements. Leads special projects, mentors associate team, oversees workforce and financial management, and handles the most complex issues directly reporting into the head of the division.


Responsibilities

  • Business Planning and Analysis - Facilitates ongoing business planning including strategy evolution, financials, workforce/talent and prioritization while identifying factors negatively affecting the division. Aids in the development of solutions to address identified issues/opportunities, coordinating across teams to achieve success.
  • Team Leadership - Communicates performance results, goal progress and expected behaviors. Facilitates agendas and discussions for ongoing leadership meetings, senior offsites and regular team-wide meetings. Creates presentations for a variety of audiences. Leads special projects, serving as a resource to wider business unit or organization. Utilizes expertise to provide guidance, feedback, and direction on complex matters.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting - Effectively sources, interprets and communicates data. Produces reports and analyses based on internal data, industry trends, and ongoing business goals/objectives. Identifies patterns, problems, and areas of improvement, tracking and communicating progress and effectiveness. Creates specifications, project plans, and other documentation in support of business initiatives. Provides support in creating internal communications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Business Strategy, Financial Planning, Analytics, and Business Planning in Financial Services. OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience.

Preferred:

  • Global banking: experience with global products (e.g. FX, Trade Finance, Global Payments) and/or clients with cross-border exposure and physical footprint
  • Global markets: experience in a markets and trading environment (e.g. FX, Interest Rate Derivatives, Commodities)
  • Project management: successful track record managing and owning large complex projects through completion

The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $129848 - $173130 annually. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
