We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to join our dynamic and growing Human Resources team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the seamless execution of daily HR operations. Responsibilities include providing administrative support, delivering employee services, and serving as a trusted partner to business units. The HR Generalist will contribute and assist with core HR programs such as performance management, change management, HRIS support, employee relations, recruiting, and training and development. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining compliance, streamlining HR processes, and delivering exceptional service across the organization.

***This position is based at Spacelabs' headquarters in Snoqualmie, Washington. The hybrid work expectation is 3+ days per week onsite, depending on business needs.***


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and facilitate new employee orientation by proactively sharing the agenda with both managers and new hires.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all documentation and transactions related to employee lifecycle events, including hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, and other personnel changes. This includes entering data into HR systems and updating tracking spreadsheets for changes in management, compensation, cost centers, job titles, salaries, addresses, tax forms (W-4), legal names, and Form I-9 compliance.
  • Manage the termination process by executing all required actions, including distributing equipment return instructions, archiving employee files and Form I-9s, processing termination transactions in SuccessFactors, and updating both the termination checklist and tracking spreadsheet to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Payroll department to identify and resolve timecard discrepancies. Assist in completing and filing timecard correction forms, ensuring accuracy, timely submission, and compliance with company policies.
  • Track and report on Spacelabs Healthcare's OSHA-mandated Bloodborne Pathogen Program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timely documentation.
  • Monitor HR-SL and SLNA email inboxes daily and respond to employee inquiries within 24 hours, ensuring timely and accurate communication regarding HR policies, procedures, and support.
  • Generate HR-related reports using the SuccessFactors Reporting module, ensuring accuracy and relevance to business needs. Collaborate with the Spacelabs HRIS team to resolve reporting issues or fulfill customized reporting requests as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies as well as federal and state labor laws, maintaining alignment with regulatory standards and HR best practices.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.
  • Provide Snoqualmie reception area support, assisting with covering receptionist breaks and occasional absences.
  • Support the planning and execution of employee morale and engagement events, contributing to a positive workplace culture and fostering team collaboration.
  • Assist with the processing and distribution of employee recognition items, including service awards and other forms of acknowledgment, to support a culture of appreciation and engagement.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in human resources, business administration, related field, or relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer service mindset and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • 2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar HR function, preferably within a global organization.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and time-management skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities, to effectively support HR operations and employee interactions.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS systems, and SharePoint. Experience with SuccessFactors, ADP, and iCIMS is a plus!
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, maintaining professionalism and compliance with privacy standards.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with HR best practices and U.S. labor laws, including federal and state regulations governing workplace safety, discrimination, compensation, and employee rights.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to work onsite at our Snoqualmie, WA office and support teams across multiple time zones.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and maintain responsiveness in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
