ABOUT THE JOB

The IT Decision Support Analyst will assist in the planning, execution, and completion of IT projects. This role involves supporting the Decision Support IT Governance & Portfolio Manager in various tasks, including project documentation, stakeholder communication, and resource coordination. The IT Decision Support Analyst will work closely with different departments to ensure projects and deliverables are on time.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE




  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans and schedules.
  • Conduct data analysis to support project decision-making.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports and meeting minutes.
  • Developing project plans, leading project teams, monitor project progress and setting deadlines.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand requirements, provide project updates and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Support IT management in coordinating project activities and resources.
  • Identify and escalate project risks and issues to IT management.
  • Assist in the preparation of project presentations and reports.
  • Analyzes business and user needs, documents and translates them into proper system requirement specifications.
  • Formulates and defines system scope and objectives based upon both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
  • Lead training sessions to implement new or improved systems and procedures.
  • Identifies potential areas where existing business service policies and procedures require change or new development.
  • Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
  • Other work-related duties as assigned by your leader.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures.



EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE




  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information management, MIS, supply chain, accounting or related field is required.
  • Three years of project management experience is required.
  • Firm understanding of Predictive, Iterative and Hybrid methodologies is required.
  • Project Management Certification preferred.

  • Experience with project management practices and tools to create, manage, and track project performance across milestones.

  • Outstanding analytical and complex critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with client impact analysis; communication positioning, design, and delivery.
  • Ability to work under pressure; exceptional time management skills.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Outstanding organizational skills include diligence and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Ability to collaborate well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.
  • Communicating in Spanish is a valuable skill at Helena.
  • Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office are required.



Successful completion of a drug test and background check is required for all positions at Helena.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ASPECTS OF THE JOB

The work environment for this position is that of a typical office environment where the noise level is mostly quiet. This position requires you to use your hands for many different tasks and to talk, hear, walk, stand and sit. You may be occasionally required to lift or move up to 10 pounds.
