Clinical Documentation Supervisor Clinical Documentation Program Full Time 86034BR Job Summary Supervises staff responsible for performing quality reviews and assessments for clinical documentation to ensure appropriateness of documentation in the medical record. Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the processes by which to attain them. Organizes and supervises the daily operations and departmental objectives in accordance with the overall strategic plan. Supports and oversees technical and administrative operations for clinical documentation as it relates to quality improvement. Accountable for the coordination of the staffing and material resources. Assists with the development and implementation of new programs, audits, education, and policies. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $118,300 - $268,900 (Annual Rate). Through collaborative relationships with Faculty service lines, CDI supports best practices in clinical documentation integrity strategies with an emphasis on severity of illness, medical complexity and quality in the medical record. CDI closely follows Case Mix Index (CMI), risk adjusted outcomes and mortality ratings. Required Qualifications
