Medical Assistant - Mercy Clinics South - Vascular Surgeons

Location: 10012 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)

Overview & Job Duties:

Responsible for assisting physicians and nurses in providing patient care to clinic patients under the supervision of physicians/nurse practitioner and the leader.

* Vital Signs
* Instrument maintenance and prep
* Stocking exam rooms

* Perform Point-of-Care testing
* Documentation (health history, phoneencounters, etc.)
* Scanning (new patient and disability paperwork, immunization records, etc.)
* Follow Protected Health Information Policy and OSHA standards
* Complete specialty specific rooming requirements
* Medication reconciliation
* Applicable only in Primary Care: Complete Advanced Standard Rooming
* Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Education Preferred: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program

Experience Preferred: One year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by the clinic
