Summary of the Job:

The Analyst I, Appraisal role is responsible for the completion of internal real estate evaluations and the review of residential real estate appraisals, which may include research to derive property values, preparing reviews, and conducting compliance analysis.

About This Role:

Hybrid - Onsite 3 days per week in Omaha

Duties and responsibilities of the role may include:

  • Complete reviews of both non-complex and complex residential appraisals, including single family residences, condos, and 2-4 unit properties

  • Ensure appraisals comply with USPAP, FIRREA regulations, internal appraisal policy, and secondary market requirements (FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, USDA and other applicable investor guidelines)

  • Analyze appraiser reasoning, logic, and conclusions and respectfully communicate with appraisers when necessary.

  • Conduct property research and derive property values for internal real estate evaluations

  • Maintain production goals while meeting accuracy and compliance standards

  • Ability produce quality reports/reviews in a high volume and production driven/deadline orientated environment.

  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws, and regulations applicable to the role

  • Position may require overtime during periods of peak volume.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 2-5+ years' experience in residential real estate industry

  • Certified Residential Appraisal License preferred

  • Knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and USDA appraisal/property requirements

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and adhere to established deadlines

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Experience with Collateral Management Systems (CMS), FNMA Collateral Underwriter, FHLMC LCA, and/or Encompass preferred

Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $46,679.00-$77,020.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Work Environment:

It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments, supporting your productivity wherever you are. Please note that work location is subject to change based on business needs.
