Decaler - 1st Shift

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Decaler on the 1st Shift at New Flyer, you will play an essential role in the finishing process of our buses, applying high-quality decals and graphics that reflect our brand standards. Your meticulous work will contribute to the final presentation of our vehicles, ensuring they meet customer specifications and quality expectations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Apply intricate decals accurately to various surfaces of buses, ensuring adherence to design protocols.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning and inspecting them for any imperfections prior to decal application.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficiency in workflow and adherence to production schedules.
• Monitor the quality of decals throughout the application process, making adjustments or corrections as needed.
• Document work completed and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisory team.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, following all safety regulations and protocols.
• Assist in the training of new team members on decal application processes and procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality and efficiency.

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Previous experience in decal application or a related field is STRONGLY preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to apply decals with precision.
• Effective hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Familiarity with graphic design or vinyl materials is an asset.
• Good communication skills and capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a busy production setting.
• Must be able to work Monday-Friday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
