SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES

This position is responsible for reviewing corporate documents and opening commercial accounts focusing on the bank's specialty client verticals. Facilitates the workflow associated with opening commercial deposit accounts for Specialty Treasury Management clients. The TM Specialty Support Specialist will assist clients by providing phone and email support, performing account maintenance, and researching Specialty Treasury Management client inquiries in a professional, timely, and efficient manner. Maintains working knowledge of banking rules and regulations. Understanding policies and procedures in relation to Treasury Management Support applications, Nacha Guidelines, UCC4A and other Banking Regulations governing electronic payments and Check21.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and maintain extensive technical knowledge of products, services and pricing, service setup documentation, operating systems, and data transmissions, file formats and protocols used for the delivery and support of Treasury Management products and services.

  • Assist with commercial account openings focusing on the bank's specialty client verticals.

  • Provide phone and email support for client resolution on Treasury Management issues, account maintenance, and products.

  • Research and respond to all Treasury Management client inquiries in a professional, timely and efficient manner, partnering with Treasury Management Support Specialists and Sales Officers when necessary.

  • Assist with performing Treasury Management account maintenance such as but not limited to account closures, account signer changes, address changes, debit card orders, fraud claim submissions.

  • Ensure that all quality services level agreements related to implementation tasks and timelines are met.

  • Ensure all required documentation is received, accurate, and scanned accordingly.

  • Monitor and clear any account and/or CIP exceptions.

  • Ensure the highest level of service is provided to internal and external clients.

  • Provide subject matter expertise to internal bank staff as required.

  • Assist with special projects as required.

  • Completes all required annual compliance training timely.

  • Participates in conversion projects related to Bank mergers when a need.

  • Accepts other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education.

  • Experience: 2 years related experience (Treasury Management, Bank Operations, Client Service); Previous banking experience preferred.

  • Certifications/Specific Knowledge: MS office expertise, Ability to read, write, speak and understand English; Knowledge of Treasury Management products / services, account analysis and online banking systems is preferred. Excellent written/oral communications skills; Proven success in problem analysis and resolution; Strong attention to detail and accuracy; Strong organization skills; Ability to manage multiple detailed work assignments with a high degree of accuracy.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES

Required annual compliance training, New Employee Orientation

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports. This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer. This can be done sitting or standing with use of the right desk.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is located in a cubicle environment that may be loud throughout the day. The position is located inside an cooled and heated facility with ability to go to a break room or rest room during breaks.

TRAVEL

Travel may be required to come to meetings as needed.
