Position Title: Senior Web Developer

Reports to: IT Project Manager

Subsidiary: Leisnoi Professional Services, LLC

Location: Arlington and Falls Church, VA

Job Status: Regular Full -Time

Position Summary:

Leisnoi Professional Solutions, LLC has an immediate need for a creative and tech-savvy individual for the position of Web/Media Content Developer. The role involves supporting the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office in the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering. This position is pivotal in designing and developing online content that aligns with an organization's strategic goals and enhances its digital presence.

Responsibilities and Duties



  • Liaising with stakeholders such as project personnel, vendors and end users regarding project requirements.
  • Design and build web pages using a variety of graphics software applications and tools, understanding DoD web policies and web accessibility standards.
  • Develop user interfaces, experience features, design architectures, animations, and special effects.
  • Contribute to the design team's efforts to elevate the look and feel of the organization's online products.
  • Develop and implement social media applications, enhance user experience, and maintain mobile applications.
  • Manage and add media content, such as videos and social media channels.
  • Align organizational strategic messaging with DoD social media outlets.
  • Support Public Affairs and Strategic Communication offices.
  • Engage with public, industry, and universities to ensure design and marketing methods align with organizational messaging.
  • Inform strategic messaging goals, analyzing effectiveness to adjust media campaigns and engagement plans.
  • Create style guides and visual products to enhance the client organization's brand identity.
  • Day-to-day activities of the position include:

    • Design and build web pages using a variety of graphics software applications and tools, understanding DoD web policies and web accessibility standards.
    • Collaborate with design teams to create innovative web solutions.
    • Monitor and update web content to ensure compliance with current standards.
    • Facilitate communication between designers, developers, and project managers to streamline project development.
    • Analyze data to develop strategies to enhance user experience.
    • Prepare and present design options for client consideration.
    • Regularly update mobile and web applications to maintain performance and security standards.
    • Coordinate with social media managers to ensure cohesive marketing strategies.




Basic Qualifications and Skills Required



  • Bachelor's degree in design or related field
  • Six or more years of web design experience
  • Proficiency in graphic design software and web development tools
  • Strong understanding of web design principles and accessibility standards.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey design concepts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Analytical skills to interpret web and user data.
  • Well versed in various technologies and able to identify risks and understand the key areas of intersection between network, security, cloud and data center consolidations
  • Capable of assisting and driving solution discussions to facilitate a clear direction forward that meets objectives of various disciplines
  • Strong comprehension skills for understanding needs and developing and applying solutions
  • Ability to identify, initiate, manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and change
