As a Security Professional -Government Facility Patrol - Full Time in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and guests, providing a welcoming presence and delivering exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access to the premises, verifying credentials, and responding to security-related inquiries or incidents. You will help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a professional atmosphere while assisting with visitor management and upholding the security-related protocols of the site. Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials of visitors, contractors, and employees as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of visitor logs, incidents, and other front desk activities.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and clients to address inquiries and provide information relevant to the location.
• Support Allied Universal and client management by reporting security-related concerns or unusual activity observed at the front desk area.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
