As a Security Professional Armed Utilities Patrol in Westminster, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment at a utilities location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to all visitors and staff. This is an armed position, requiring you to carry and maintain proficiency with a firearm as part of your duties. You will be relied upon to respond promptly to incidents, manage access control, and uphold our company's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Pay Rate: $24.50/ Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and activities during each shift.
• Operate communication devices and security-related equipment as required by the post.
• Follow all Allied Universal and client-specific protocols to help to maintain a secure environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or more years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
