Data Analytics Intern (Summer 2026 | Grand Rapids, MI)
As an Intern on our Data Analytics Team, you will help our clients find real meaning from raw data helping them to run their companies more efficiently and successfully. You will focus on analyzing data, building data repositories, and developing ingest mechanisms and transformations to meet the needs of our clients.

What you'll accomplish:
- Collecting and interpreting data from various sources
- Understand data needs and build data models to support those needs
- Assisting in database design and maintenance
- Model reporting structure in data warehouse and build procedures to build data
- Contribute to developing data warehouses for small to big data implementations
- Identify and implement data flow using ETL and ELT processes
- Ingest data in varying frequencies and using different technologies
- Developing reports and visualizations to effectively communicate data-driven insights
- Creating and presenting dashboards with valuable insights
- Support efforts to migrate data from various databases
- Work with data lakes to store, process, and serve data
- Troubleshooting data-related issues and providing technical support
What you'll bring:
- Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field
- Interest in data engineering or data science
- Knowledge of data modeling, data normalization, database security, SQL, and Python
- Understanding of database design and data modeling in relational databases
- Experience optimizing databases and stored procedures and tuning performance
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
- Ability to clearly communicate findings to many audiences
