McKesson Medical-Surgical's Laboratory team is seeking a Field VP, Strategic Accounts for the South Central territory. The Field VP, Strategic Accounts is primarily responsible for partnering with the McKesson Health Systems and Corporate Accounts teams to engage the C-suite and decision makers in non-acute settings. The position is expected to identify and develop new lab business opportunities, penetrate and retain existing business, and meet and exceed annual sales plans.

The Field VP, Strategic Accounts will drive the implementation of secured business across the McKesson Medical Surgical lab organization. This role will represent the lab organization across McKesson's various business units, as well as collaborate with internal specialists' teams to promote team selling and new business growth.

  • Develop business relationships with laboratory customers within the non-acute health system and corporate accounts segments, focused at the decision maker level to generate new business, and to penetrate and retain existing business in support of achieving sales goals.

  • Develop and drive the McKesson value proposition for total lab solutions to include standardization of formulary, product and process, conversion to new technology, management of chronic disease, higher patient satisfaction and quality outcomes.

  • Develop relationships with key vendor partners and internal McKesson teams to leverage national & regional contracts to develop and secure new business.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience

Education:

  • 4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience

Critical Skills:

  • 7+ years sales and sales related experience

  • Proven business development experience at the C-suite level

  • Knowledge and/or experience in Lab Solutions preferred

  • Excellent verbal and presentation skills

Additional Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated success in influencing and collaborating in a matrix environment

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Experience in product positioning/placement

  • Must possess a creative, out of the box approach to problem resolution and client satisfaction

  • Manage and position financial outcomes to achieve revenue goals across assigned book of business

  • Knowledge of GPO's and contracting process helpful

Environment

  • Work from home office environment

  • Large percent of time performing computer-based work

  • Frequent travel up to 75%

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Total Target Cash (TTC) Pay Range for this position:

$145,200 - $242,000

Total Target Cash (TTC) is defined as base pay plus target incentive.
