Department:School of EducationDepartment's Website: Summary of Job Duties:Essential Duties & Responsibilities**Pillar 1: Integrated Student Supports** * Coordinate health, mental health, and social services to remove barriers to learning. * Build and maintain partnerships with community agencies that provide counseling, trauma-informed care, food assistance, housing support, and other critical wraparound services. * Work with UAMS STARLITE, Jefferson Regional Medical Center, and other providers to expand telehealth, school-based clinics, and wellness programming. * Ensure services are culturally responsive, accessible, and aligned with student and family needs. * Collect and track data on service utilization and outcomes to measure impact. **Pillar 2: Expanded Learning Time & Opportunities** * Coordinate after-school, weekend, and summer learning programs, including enrichment in STEM, literacy, and arts. * Partner with Boys & Girls Club, UAPB, and local organizations to expand tutoring, mentoring, and youth leadership opportunities. * Integrate UAPB students into service-learning roles to provide academic support and mentoring. * Leverage Title I funds and community resources to increase access to expanded learning opportunities. **Pillar 3: Family & Community Engagement** * Establish and facilitate a School-Based Community Council that includes families, staff, students, and partners. * Support and assist the Mobile Parent Resource Center, offering Wi-Fi, laptops, books, GED/job readiness tools, and access to community agencies. * Support family engagement activities such as adult literacy workshops, financial education, and health fairs. * Build family leadership capacity by ensuring parents and guardians are decision-makers in planning and evaluation. * Strengthen partnerships with organizations such as 100 Families Jefferson County and United Way to provide holistic family support. **Pillar 4: Collaborative Leadership & Practice** * Collaborate with principals, teachers, and staff to embed the community schools' model into everyday practice. * Facilitate professional development for staff and partners on trauma-informed care, family engagement and equity Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree required (education, social work, public health, or related field). Master's preferred. * At least two (2) years of experience in public schools, youth development, or community engagement. * Knowledge of community school principles, whole-child strategies, and culturally responsive practices. * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, build partnerships, and analyze data. * Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
