Project Manager 2

Scope of Position

Responsible for supporting larger projects and planning and leading small projects under the guidance of a Project Manager/Sr. Project Manager or Team Manager. Coordinates small teams of individuals (usually under 5 project resources) to manage projects that meet the needs of customers at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC).

Position Summary

Serves as a leader of OSUWMC initiatives of small complexity and assigned to support components of larger high complexity initiatives. These requirements are carried out by applying industry standards based on the project lifecycle of Initiation, Planning, Execution, Transition and Close. Performs the essential functions required to ensure consistent, quality, and successful delivery. Has a solid project management core skill set as well as the ability to interact with many customers under guidance. Has the ability to multi-task and manage project details while demonstrating qualities of trust, teamwork, and transparency, while ensuring that all work is managed to maximize customer satisfaction. Additionally, maintains a focus on personal and professional development to be able to build mastery in project management and process maturity.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2 years of relevant experience required.
