Job Summary

This internship provides hands on experience supporting business process automation and emerging AI solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot tools. The intern will work closely with business stakeholders and IT to help document requirements, test solutions, and support ongoing improvements. This role offers exposure to structured development practices, continuous improvement methodologies, and practical application of automation to drive operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Assist in building and maintaining basic business process automations using Microsoft Power Platform to help improve efficiency across departments
  • Support the development and testing of AI powered tools and Copilot based solutions under the guidance of senior team members
  • Partner with business teams and IT to gather information about current processes and help document requirements for automation projects
  • Help document workflows, solution designs, and testing results to support project implementation and knowledge sharing
  • Follow established development standards and security guidelines when creating or updating automation solutions
  • Monitor existing automations and AI tools, report issues, and assist with troubleshooting and performance improvements
  • Participate in Agile project meetings and continuous improvement efforts to identify opportunities for process enhancements and incremental value creation
  • Other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications



  • Must be pursuing a degree in IT or a related field.
  • Foundational understanding of automation logic and/or basic scripting (Python, JavaScript)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Strong communication skills, especially the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Basic understanding of LLM Principles, prompt engineering, and experience using LLM applications (ChatGPT, Copilot)
  • Basic experience using workflow automation tools (UIPath, Power Automate, n8n)
  • Basic experience using agentic AI frameworks.
