The College of Dental Medicine invites candidates to apply for a position as Postdoctoral Research Scientist in the Regenerative Engineering Laboratory under the direction of Dr. Chang H. Lee.

The Regenerative Engineering Laboratory, directed by Dr. Chang H. Lee, is a part of the Center for Dental and Craniofacial Research (CDCR) in the College of Dental Medicine. CDCR contains over 4000-sq feet of space, including state-of-art research facilities, and serves as an inter-campus hub for interdisciplinary collaboration. The Lee Lab has a long-lasting, active collaboration with the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and the Department of Biomedical Engineering.

The candidate will have an opportunity to investigate multi-tissue crosstalk and the effect of patient specific pathophysiological factors in joint tissue disease, injury and regeneration.

Self-motivated individuals with PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering with Organ-On-a-Chip expertise are encouraged to apply.

PhD with at least five years of wet lab research experience in a related field.

Candidates should demonstrate excellent scientific vigor, critical thinking, written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
