Job Description The Senior Principal Research Scientist is self-reliant with a proven record of accomplishments, both leading others in a matrix environment, and independently identifying and solving complex problems using sophisticated scientific methods and analytical thought, across a number of critical and diverse projects. This position reports to the Distinguished Fellow in charge of the Cell and Gene Therapy Research Discovery Team. The Senior Principal Research Scientist encourages use of diverse experimental approaches within their area of work and advances innovative processes and methodologies that generate insights that inuence research strategies in the Type1Diabetes space. The successful candidate is regarded as an emerging expert in a eld of research, specifically with expertise in the molecular and cellular biology of endocrinology. They are dependable, providing valuable advice to other research Project Teams on a regular basis. This person must have a successful track record of developing research approaches, and medical strategies that can inform potential clinical approaches. Key Responsibilities:

#LI-KM4 Pay Range: $169,600 - $254,300Disclosure Statement: The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
