Cytek Biosciences is a fastgrowing leader in cell analysis solutions. We develop cuttingedge reagents, assays, and instrument systems to empower scientists working on immunology, oncology, cell therapy, and beyond. At Cytek, your work directly contributes to innovation that accelerates scientific discovery and empowers research teams worldwide.

Why This Role Matters

As a Research Scientist on our Reagent & Assay Development team, you'll play a key handson role in bringing new products from concept to reality. You'll run experiments, test reagents, troubleshoot, analyze data, and support the writing of protocols and SOPs. If you enjoy science, learning quickly, and seeing your work feed directly into product development, this role gives you room to grow and make impact.

What You'll Do
  • Execute flow cytometry experiments on biological samples, following established protocols and work instructions.

  • Test reagents, assay panels, and instruments per SOPs; perform new fluorescentantibody conjugate testing, document results, and analyze data.

  • Troubleshoot experiments: design and validate corrective experiments if outcomes don't match expectations.

  • Present findings in group meetings; clearly communicate data, challenges, and insight.

  • Contribute to the development and writing of study protocols and SOPs.

  • Help with lab management: maintaining organization, ensuring equipment and materials are ready, supporting daily lab operations.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Life Sciences (e.g. Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry).

  • 0-2 years of experience in a research, biotech, or pharma R&D environment.

  • Handson experience with general lab techniques: handling human blood/biological samples, cell culture, standard lab equipment.

  • Excellent written & oral communication, strong documentation skills.

  • Comfortable working in a team, collaborating crossfunctionally.

  • Capacity to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks while maintaining high quality.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).

Nice to Have / Plus Factors:

  • Experience using flow cytometry for immunology research, immune cell phenotyping, or other cellbased assays.

  • Previous work in regulated environments (e.g. GLP / GMP).

  • Experience designing or executing conjugation of fluorescent antibodies.

What You'll Gain
  • Opportunity to build strong expertise in flow cytometry, assay development, and reagent innovation.

  • Handson role in R&D where your contributions are visible and impactful.

  • Exposure to process development, protocol writing, and regulatory science.

  • Collaborative, missiondriven environment with growing opportunities.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs safely.

  • Comfortable standing for extended periods (approximately one hour at a time).

  • Ability to access and work at lab benches and reach materials or chemicals stored on shelves.
