  • Operate centrifuges, prepare labels, and ensure samples are stored under proper conditions.

  • Prepare and track outgoing shipments, providing recipients with inventory sheets and manifests.

    • Team-oriented mindset with clear communication skills.

Schedule, Pay & Benefits

  • Shift: Monday-Friday, daytime hours only (6a or 7a rotating start time)

  • Starting Pay: $19/hour, can increase based on experience

  • Overtime: 1.5x rate | Holiday Pay: 2x rate

  • Weekend rotation (1.5x overtime rate)

  • Benefits start within 30 days: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, and more

  • Generous PTO (23 days annually) and paid holidays (10 annually) - better than most healthcare schedules

  • Frequent walking, standing, sitting for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Working with animal specimens, animal dander, and hazardous biological materials (including HIV-positive samples)

  • Use of PPE (gloves, safety glasses, masks/respirators)

  • TB test (negative Mantoux or chest X-ray) required

  • Exposure to chemicals, solvents, and moderate noise levels
