Responsibilities
Job Summary Under the direction of the IT manager, the Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA) handles all daily operations of the Epic application system components. Manages service desk tickets as well as work requests for the support of Epic application infrastructure. Ensure that the health of the Epic Infrastructure is properly maintained through the following activities: troubleshooting system issues; upgrades and patches for system stability; tuning for system performance and properly configuring different components of the Epic Infrastructure. In addition, the Epic Client System Administrator will provide guidance, mentoring, training and participate in an on-call rotation that includes facilitating off-hour work functions in support of incidents, upgrades, patches, and project task fulfillment.
- Participates in the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of EMR infrastructure:
Mentors and responds to requests for level I and II incident support. Manages tickets for incidents and requests. Performs proactive Epic application infrastructure problem detection, validates application functionality, and develops training materials for customers and staff. Documents & submits new content to the knowledgebase, maintains team wiki, creates process maps, develops new framework & processes around problem management. Coaches and trains other teams that are less experienced, performs quality assurance on incidents and requests to identify coaching opportunities. Uses communication skills to listen to, identify & address customer needs while building a relationship and rapport with customers. Prioritizes and responds promptly based on severity levels to needs of the customer. Proactively or timely recognizes opportunities for service recovery and acts to resolve issues. - Training (lead by senior peer or self-guided) and completing Epic certifications

Education Associate's Degree or 2 years' work related experience Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline. Required
Experience 1 year Experience with Microsoft Windows Required
