DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Under the direction of the Director of Gaming Laboratory Operations, the Executive Secretary performs a wide range of essential administrative and clerical work. You will be responsible for processing and entering new submissions into the database in addition to assuring accuracy of initially received paperwork. This position processes approval letters and completes other correspondence as needed. Reviewing of draft approval letters including verifying letterhead, date, addressee, typos, grammar, database entries completed, database and letter match will be included in your duties. Your organizational skills will be key as you update files and database, keep distribution lists current and update staff with changes. This professional keeps both electronic, and paper files organized, assists with scheduling Teams meetings, travel revisions and plans, and performs special projects as required. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours weekly
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
- Telework: Telework options may be available within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania only. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- A high school diploma or its equivalency and five years of relevant work experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must possess a high school diploma and five years of relevant work experience.
- You must have experience answering phone lines for a large office or agency.
- You must have the ability to utilize and understand Microsoft software, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- You must have experience working for a Board of Commissioners or executive level positions.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- Employment is contingent upon the completion of a Personal History Questionnaire with a thorough background investigation, including drug screening and the subsequent review and approval by the Board.
