What to Expect
We are looking foranexceptional Systems Engineerwhowill focus on advanced sensor integration and data driven predictive analysis for cell manufacturing equipment.You willwork hands-on with advanced, high-resolutionsensorsto confirm that they meet functional and process requirements of the manufacturing equipment. You willwork with a cross-functional team to characterize equipment with these sensors and guide process team in establishing operation window.
What You'll Do
- Apply first principles thinking and scientific methodologies to system characterization by advanced sensors and actuators
- Improve the operation space of equipment and identify risks and failure modes by integrating new sensors
- Improve the cell manufacturing process through working with controls engineers and design engineers
- Develop diagnostics and guidefailure analysis with sensors by collectingtest data andanalyzingtest results
- Definediagnostic testsandmeasurement conditions and work with cross-functional teams to developpass/fail criteria
- Documenttest specifications and standardoperationprocedures
- Use tool data to build diagnostic toolkits and predictive models to improve yield
- Use a data driven approach to accelerate matching across the fleet of tools
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Math or equivalent experience. Advanced degrees (MS or Ph.D.) are preferred
- 3+ years ofexperience inmanufacturingproduct development, process engineering, or testinginenergy,automotive, semiconductor, aerospace, or relatedindustries
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems
- Experience working with data from various types of sensors (e.g., force sensors, loadcells, thermocouples, accelerometers, etc.) and actuators (e.g., hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, etc.)
- Familiarity withC/C++, Python,orMATLAB and data analysis libraries such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, or equivalent
- Proficiency with statistical analysis, design of experiments, and data analysis software such asExcel,Minitab,and/or JMP
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, willingnessto gain and share new knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively
- Remain engaged, proactive, and positive in tough circumstances. Own assignments and take full accountability for their success
- Have a positive attitude, remain eager to learn, and have the ability to change direction quickly
- Be able to travel to other sites

Expected Compensation
$88,000 - $174,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
