What to Expect
The AI Hardware team is seeking an IP Design Verification Engineer to contribute to the pre-silicon RTL verification of IP blocks and subsystems. With a deep understanding of IP design and verification methodologies, you will collaborate with other design teams to develop a metric-driven, configurable, and reusable verification environment tailored for IP components.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with team members to define and establish a verification environment
- Design and architect reusable UVM-based testbenches, integrating VIPs and subsystem components for thorough verification
- Develop coverage-driven verification plans based on specifications
- Achieve targeted coverage goals by working closely with RTL Design, and Architecture teams
- Execute, analyze, and refine verification strategies to meet coverage targets
- Define and review verification and post-silicon validation test plans in collaboration with team members
- Support post-silicon validation and IP integration debugging as needed
- Gain familiarity with interface protocols (e.g., AXI, AHB), memory management schemes, and power-aware design techniques such as UPF integration
What You'll Bring
- 1+ years of dedicated/hands-on IP Design Verification experience
- Strong programming skills in UVM, C/C++, and scripting languages like Python
- Experience verifying IP blocks or subsystems with complex interfaces and protocols
- Emulation experience on platforms such as Palladium or Zebu is a plus
- Knowledge of power-aware verification (e.g., UPF integration) and gate simulations is a plus
