Job Description:

Baptist Health Medical Group is looking for a Provider Onboarding Coordinator to join our team!

This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN.

The Provider Onboarding Coordinator provides system coordination for day-to-day activity for implementing provider and/or practice onboarding, off boarding and moves for the Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG). The Provider Onboarding Coordinator works collaboratively with physicians, practice managers and staff, hospital leadership, and BHMG support departments to ensure successful onboarding, off boarding and/or moves for providers and office practices to BHMG are completed timely and accurately. This role must be able to successfully communicate across a wide spectrum of audiences, lead change initiatives, have strong financial and organizational skills and be able to function effectively with multiple priorities.

Essential Duties:

  • Coordinates with BHMG leadership and the on-boarding physician or practice to ensure operational best practices and service excellence standards are developed and maintained.
  • Develops strategic short-range and long-range processes to support the organization's and practice's goals, while enhancing the BHMG physician onboarding process
  • Provides project support for the Strategic Project Manager and Vice President of Physician Integration.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables and develop and deliver progress reports.
  • Proactively manages changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Builds, develops, and grows any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
  • Conducts project post-mortems and creates a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5 years related experience can be substituted in lieu of the degree
  • Physician Practice Start-up and Operations experience preferred
  • Experience coordinating integration activities related to the set-up of newly acquired/startups preferred
