* Inspect glass for defects.
* Pack glass according to specifications for shipment. * Ensure quality production to meet customers specifications. * Completes required quality/production paperwork. * Maintain line cleanliness, sweeping and shoveling glass, proper storage of tools, and emptying trash. * Report unsafe equipment and/or conditions. * Maintain operations at the highest standards set forth by Vitro's customers, production, and quality departments. * What We Offer * $18.68 per hour, plus an additional $0.50 shift differential (nights) * Every other weekend off. 12-hour shifts. * Paid vacation from day one * Medical, dental, and vision * 401k with match * Education / Experience: * Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred but not required. * Entry level position with the expectations to advance and move into other positions. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, SAFETY and WORK ENVIRONMENT: * Performing duties within normal industrial environmental conditions may encounter extreme heat or cold working conditions. * Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. * Must be able to push/pull, grip to use hand tools, reach, see, hear, and speak. * Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. * Associates must always follow posted security procedures while in the building. * Must follow all PPE requirements. | |
