Job Overview:

RWJ Barnabas Health is looking for a talented individual for our Assistant Vice President overseeing quality at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ

Qualifications:

  • BSN or related degree required;
  • Master's degree and CPHQ strongly preferred.
  • Ten (10) years of management experience in acute care settings with responsibility for quality, safety, and standards management.

Essential Functions:

  • Directs the hospital-wide quality, performance improvement, patient safety, High Reliability Organization (HRO) initiatives, accreditation and regulatory compliance and infection control programs.
  • Collaborates with the medical staff, the department of nursing and clinical ancillary departments to drive performance improvement and survey readiness for regulatory and accreditation surveys.
  • Participates and contributes to the health system's quality, HRO, and accreditation and licensure committees and projects.
  • Responsible for the ongoing development, direction, supervision and administration of the following areas and programs: Performance Improvement, Safety, Quality Outcomes Management, Infection Control, HRO Initiatives, Quality Dashboards (including Value Based Purchasing), Accreditation and Licensure.
