Staffmark is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a direct hire role with a leading manufacturer of custom plastic products in Muncie, IN. Salary: $56,000-$72,000/yr (based on experience)

Schedule: 12-hour shifts | Flexibility required to meet operational needs

Responsibilities:



  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Operate shop equipment including welders, grinders, torches, etc.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Use CMMS for work orders and parts inventory
  • Perform welding, fabrication, and mechanical troubleshooting
  • Operate forklifts and aerial lifts as needed
  • Maintain detailed records and adhere to all safety protocols



Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Skilled in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
  • Familiar with PLCs, 3-phase motors, AC/DC drives, and low voltage controls
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and maintenance software
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 8-12-hour shifts
  • Technical certification or plastics industry experience is a plus
