Job Title: Service Desk Technician *Location:* Louisville, KY (On-site)
*Experience Level:* Entry Level *Shift*: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift opportunities available Overview TEKsystems is seeking a Service Desk Technician supporting hardware and software troubleshooting for one of our clients based out of Louisville, Kentucky. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems and is eager to grow within a dynamic organization. Responsibilities * Deliver exceptional customer service by handling inbound support calls and assisting with technical troubleshooting. * Support hardware and service desk operations for field-deployed kiosks. * Serve as a backup operator to maintain system integrity. * Monitor system alerts, error logs, and communication networks; escalate issues per established protocols. * Perform accurate data entry and validation within scheduling systems. * Complete daily operational checklists with precision and timeliness. * Participate in project teams and contribute to assigned initiatives. * Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new software releases. * Execute system configuration requests accurately. * Troubleshoot processing errors and escalate when necessary. * Take on additional duties as assigned. Required Skills * Strong problem-solving mindset with a calm, can-do attitude under pressure. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively. * Technical aptitude Preferred Qualifications * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field. * Prior experience in help desk, service desk, or customer support roles. * Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities. Additional Information * Two-step interview process: initial team interview followed by HR. * Long-term potential with a growing organization. * Support needed due to expansion and increased operational demands. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
