The successful applicant will be an experienced Technical Analyst providing skillful knowledge and support to the USSOCOM PEO-FW (Program Executive Office - Fixed Wing) Strike acquisition and integration efforts. They will provide critical technical expertise in weapon system interoperability, Special Operations Mission Planning systems and Software integration.The applicant will work closely with the Program Manager to coordinate and execute program activities across various stakeholders, including Combat Acquisition Detachments and industry partners.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert-level technical analysist for the acquisition, integration, and sustainment of complex strike systems, with a focus on weapons system interoperability, software integration and Special Operations Mission Planning systems
  • Determine operational feasibility and releasability by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions Serve as a key technical advisor to the USSOCOM PEO-FW Strike Program Manager.
  • Collaborate with Combat Acquisition Detachments (CADs) to understand operational requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Coordinate program activities with various government and industry partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Lead government team in execution of PEO-FW interoperability objectives for the Strike division material leader.
  • Develop and review technical documentation, including system specifications, test plans, and integration procedures.
  • Participate in system design reviews and provide technical analysis.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with program execution.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of program strategies and roadmaps.
  • May require occasional travel to support program activities.
Required Qualifications:
  • Must have one of the following combinations of experience and education:
oCompleted bachelor's degree in a relevant degree field and twelve (12)years of experience
oCompleted master's degree in a relevant degree field and ten (5) years of experience
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in communications systems, with a focus on complex weapons system interoperability and mission planning systems.
  • Experience leading complex technical projects/programs with various government entities.
  • Experience working with USSOCOM or other special operations forces is highly desirable.
  • Experience with DoD acquisition processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Must be a US Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance by date of hire.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with interoperability requirements to include Link 16 and datalinks.
  • Experience with military communication systems.
  • Experience with mission planning software.
  • Familiarity with relevant military standards and specifications.
  • Experience working on-site in a government client environment.
