Handler, Material A

Core Responsibilities:

• Receive material in the business system and direct it to proper storage.
• Receive finished goods into inventory.
• Issue material from inventory into a manufacturing order.
• Print quality paper and package finished goods for shipment to customers.
• Conduct cycle counts on inventory and coordinate with cost accounting on disposition of discrepancies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Supports Company policy, procedures, and safety policy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to communicate effectively and interact with other shipping personnel, as well as production personnel.
• Possess the ability to resolve shipping issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively instructions, concepts, and solutions to all levels of employees.
• Must be able to schedule and organize time effectively to satisfactorily complete assigned tasks and functions.
• General computer literacy required to operate business systems.
• Forklift certified preferred.

Physical Demands:

• This position requires the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 lbs regularly throughout the shift.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
