Full Time Admissions Specialist l 80 hours/pay period l Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm l Every 4th Weekend Rotation

The Admissions Specialist is responsible for relationship building with community referral and admission sources, and marketing of the campus within the community.

The targeted pay range for this job is $30- $34.00 per hour.

Essential Job Responsibilities:



  1. Establishes personal contacts within the community and builds relationships with referral sources (e.g. discharge planners, hospital/facility case workers, and others in the community). Tracks all referrals and leads.
  2. Communicates information regarding prospective admissions to appropriate facility team members, including need for pre-admissions authorizations, payer sources, anticipated time of arrival, special needs of the resident for services and supplies, etc.
  3. Conducts personal marketing visits with identified key referral sources and speaks to groups to enhance awareness of all campus services available. Represents campus at community marketing events and programs geared towards our potential customers and referral sources.
  4. Responsible for production of promotional, sales and marketing materials, literature, advertising, and other information provided to our customers and referral sources.
  5. Prepares the Admissions Department's annual operating and capital budget. Compiles marketing and other related information and statistics as requested by leadership.
  6. Participates in the strategic planning for the campus. Helps develop and implement departmental goals within campus planning.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned.


Minimum Required Qualifications:



  • Previous experience in healthcare, admissions, marketing and/or sales
  • Understanding of the medical and personal needs of seniors moving into our communities
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, OSHA, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, Right to know, and MSDS


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related, or equivalent experience
  • Prior management experience
